NAD+ IV Therapy in Delray Beach
AmpUp Wellness offers NAD+ infusions at our Delray Beach clinic on Linton Boulevard, serving Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach and the surrounding communities. Infusions are placed and monitored by David Patterson, APRN, using product sourced from a licensed compounding pharmacy.
This page sets out what NAD+ is, what an infusion actually involves, what it costs, and what the published evidence does and does not support. We would rather you book knowing all four than be sold a promise we cannot stand behind.
What NAD+ Is, in Plain Terms
Worth understanding before you decide whether an infusion is a sensible use of your money.
The Molecule
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a coenzyme present in every cell in your body. It is central to how cells convert food into usable energy and to a range of repair processes. None of that is controversial; it is textbook biochemistry.
The Claim
The wellness industry argument runs that NAD+ falls with age, and that restoring it slows ageing. The first half of that is more contested than the marketing suggests, and the second half has not been demonstrated in controlled trials of IV NAD+.
Why Intravenous
NAD+ is a large, polar molecule with poor oral absorption, which is the usual rationale for giving it by drip. Whether the infused molecule then enters cells intact is genuinely unsettled in the literature.
What People Report
Mental clarity, steadier energy and better sleep in the days afterwards are the most common reports. These are subjective and uncontrolled, which does not make them untrue, but does mean they cannot be promised.
We would rather you read the next section before booking. Or see our other IV drips.

Pricing and Sourcing
Two things worth checking at any clinic before you book an NAD+ drip: what you are actually paying, and where the product came from.
What It Costs
- NAD+ as an add-on to any infusion: 200 dollars.
- Energize Me drip with NAD+ 50mg, vitamin C, B-complex, B12, calcium and glutathione: 300 dollars.
- No membership, no minimum package, no charge to come in and ask questions first.
- Other boosters can be added to the same bag: glutathione 100 dollars, B12 80 dollars, vitamin C 80 dollars, Lipo C 100 dollars, MIC 80 dollars.
Where Ours Comes From
- Sourced from a licensed compounding pharmacy, not a food-grade bulk supplier.
- In 2024 the FDA warned that some compounders were using cheap food-grade NAD+ for sterile injections. A Class I recall followed in 2025 over elevated endotoxins.
- Contaminated product causes severe chills, violent shaking and vomiting, which is the risk you are actually managing when you choose a provider.
- Ask us which pharmacy we use. Ask anyone else too. A clinic that will not tell you is telling you something.
Questions before you commit? Book a consultation and we will talk it through honestly.
What the Evidence Actually Shows
NAD+ is marketed harder than almost anything else in wellness right now, usually as an anti-ageing or cellular repair therapy. We are going to be straight with you about where that stands, because you can find the opposite claim on a hundred other clinic websites and you deserve to know why ours reads differently.
There are no controlled outcome trials of intravenous NAD+. A 2026 systematic review examined 113 intervention studies and found that while oral nicotinamide riboside and nicotinamide mononucleotide show measurable biochemical changes in humans, evidence for parenteral NAD+ delivering anti-ageing or wellness outcomes is absent from the controlled trial literature. Not weak. Absent.
The premise itself is under question. The standard pitch is that NAD+ declines with age and needs topping up. More recent work using better mass spectrometry found blood NAD+ levels are surprisingly stable and do not consistently fall with age, raising the possibility that earlier findings reflected sample handling rather than biology. NAD+ is also a large polar molecule that is not expected to cross cell membranes intact.
So why do we offer it? Because a good number of patients tell us they feel clearer, steadier and more energetic in the days after an infusion, and we are not going to pretend that experience does not happen. What we will not do is dress a subjective report up as proven clinical benefit, promise it reverses ageing, or sell you a twelve-session package on that basis.
If your goal is more energy, there are things we can measure and act on first: thyroid function, ferritin and iron studies, B12, vitamin D, sleep quality, and testosterone or estrogen where relevant. Those are the boring answers, they are frequently the correct ones, and they are cheaper than a drip. Our hormone replacement therapy and InBody body composition pages cover how we work that up. If you have been through all of it and still want to try NAD+ with clear eyes, we are glad to run it for you properly.
