  • Healthcare providers and labs — only as necessary for your care and with your consent

SMS Opt-In Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is shared solely with Twilio, Inc. to facilitate delivery of messages you have consented to receive. Twilio is contractually prohibited from using this data for any independent marketing purpose.

We may disclose personal information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our patients and staff.

4. Health Information & HIPAA

As a healthcare provider, we handle your protected health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). 5. SMS / Text Message Communications

AmpUp Wellness uses SMS text messaging to communicate with clients who have provided explicit consent. We operate a two-checkbox opt-in system that separates informational and marketing messages.

Informational & Service-Related Messages (Required Consent)

With your consent via a required checkbox at booking, we send:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Booking updates and schedule changes
  • Post-visit follow-ups and service updates
  • Health and wellness program updates related to your care

Marketing & Promotional Messages (Optional Consent)

Only if you separately and explicitly opt in via an optional unchecked checkbox, we may send:

Consent to marketing messages is optional and never a condition of receiving services or booking an appointment.

How to Opt In

  • Online booking: by checking the consent checkbox(es) during the Workee booking process. Informational and marketing consents are collected via two separate checkboxes. The marketing checkbox is optional and unchecked by default.
  • In person: by completing a written consent form at our clinic.

How to Opt Out

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and care program. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. Not all carriers are supported.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Medical records are retained in accordance with Florida state law requirements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize your data.

Access to personal and health information is limited to authorized staff with a legitimate need. No data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards.
