Low Testosterone Treatment in Delray Beach
AmpUp Wellness is an independent low testosterone clinic on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach, serving men across Palm Beach County — Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach and the surrounding communities. Bloodwork is drawn on site, doses are adjusted in person, and you see the same provider every visit.
This page is about choosing where to be treated. If you are researching the therapy itself — how it is delivered, dosed and monitored — start with our testosterone replacement therapy page instead.

What a Mail-Order Prescription Cannot Do
A dozen national services will post you a vial after a video call. For a specific kind of patient that is fine. For most men, it quietly skips the parts that make this therapy work.
Draw your blood the same way every time
Testosterone peaks in the morning and swings widely through the day. Two early-morning draws under comparable conditions is straightforward when you walk into a clinic at 8am, and unreliable at the kitchen table on a Saturday afternoon. Consistent conditions mean a change in your numbers reflects a change in you.
Adjust your dose while looking at you
How you are sleeping, how your mood has shifted, whether your blood pressure moved, whether you look different — these inform the adjustment as much as the lab value. A remote provider reading a spreadsheet has one input. A provider who saw you three months ago has all of them.
Be accountable for the monitoring
Testosterone raises red blood cell concentration in a meaningful proportion of men, and needs prostate monitoring over 55. Entirely manageable when someone is checking. The failure mode with subscription providers is rarely dramatic — the follow-up panel just never gets ordered, and nobody notices for a year.
Scan you
Testosterone therapy is supposed to raise lean mass and lower fat mass. A bathroom scale cannot tell you whether that is happening and neither can a lab value alone. An InBody body composition scan can — and a provider who never sees you cannot run one.
None of this makes telehealth wrong. It makes it a different product. Book a consultation if you want it managed the way an endocrine problem should be.

Morning appointment slots are kept deliberately open, because testosterone panels have to be drawn early to be meaningful. If you work standard hours, ask for the first slot of the day when you book your consultation.
What Your First Visit Looks Like
The first appointment is a consultation and a blood draw, and it takes about 45 minutes.
You will sit down with APRN David Patterson and go through your symptoms, your history, your medications and what you are actually hoping to change. That conversation matters more than it sounds: several of the men who come to us convinced they have low testosterone turn out to have a thyroid problem, untreated sleep apnoea, or a medication side effect driving the symptoms. Finding that out is a better outcome than a prescription that would not have worked.
Then we draw blood, on site, in the morning. Because a diagnosis requires two separate early-morning readings, you will come back for a second draw before any prescription is written. Nobody leaves the first visit with testosterone in hand, and any clinic that would hand it to you on day one is skipping a step.
Once both panels are back, we review the results together, explain what they actually mean, and lay out the recommended plan and its full cost. If we do not think treatment is warranted, we will say so. If you would like the mechanics of the therapy itself — delivery methods, dosing, monitoring schedule — those are covered in detail on our main testosterone replacement therapy page.
There is no obligation to proceed, and no membership to cancel if you decide not to.
